DPCT-01 (Deutsch Solid Pin Crimp Tool)

Description

The once impossible to find Deutsch crimp tool has been found and NAMZ has it! This crimping tool will work with Deutsch HD, DT and DTM Series solid terminals for many wire gauges. It’s manufactured by Deutsch so you know you‚’re going to get a perfect crimp every time.

It is designed to be adjustable using a locking dial that will allow crimping 12-gauge to 26-gauge depending on your terminal and wire size. The DPCT-01 is also a ratcheting crimping tool with a safety-release tab in case you need to stop or re-position the wire.

The DPCT-01 is the best tool for crimping solid terminals. This tool places 8-dimples around the body of the terminal in 4 evenly placed locations for a superior crimp.

The only downside when using a solid terminal is the fact that there is not a strain-relief to protect against wire breakage. The strain-relief or insulation crimp on a stamped terminal uses the wires jacket to help prevent the conductor from breaking while bending or flexing.
